When you use Resume Analyzer, we collect the following:
Resume content — Your resume file is sent to the Claude API (Anthropic) for analysis. We do not store the file or its text content on our servers after the analysis is complete.
Filename — The name of the file you upload is logged for usage monitoring.
Analysis score — The numeric score returned by the AI is logged for usage monitoring.
IP address — Your IP address is logged to enforce rate limiting (10 analyses per hour) and prevent abuse.
Timestamp — The date and time of each analysis is logged.
What we don't collect
We do not require account registration or collect your name or email address.
We do not use cookies or third-party tracking pixels.
We do not store the text content of your resume after analysis is complete.
We do not collect payment information.
How we use your data
Rate limiting — IP addresses are used solely to enforce a limit of 10 analyses per hour per user, protecting the service from abuse.
Usage monitoring — Filenames, scores, and timestamps are used to understand how the tool is being used and to monitor for abuse.
Service improvement — Aggregate, anonymized usage data may be used to improve the tool.
Third party services
Anthropic (Claude API) — Your resume content is sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to data processed by their API. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Supabase — Metadata (filename, score, IP address, timestamp) is stored in a Supabase database hosted on AWS infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
Log data (filename, score, IP address, timestamp) is retained for up to 90 days and then deleted. Resume file content is never stored beyond the duration of a single analysis request.
Your rights
If you are located in the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since we only store IP addresses and do not collect names or emails, the most effective way to make such a request is to contact us with your IP address. We will delete all associated records within 30 days.
